DHL Parcel Austria has appointed Katja Bodner as CFO in place of Patrick Wolf who has returned to Germany as CFO of DHL Delivery GmbH in Bonn.
The 43-year-old financial expert, born in the Austrian region of Carinthia, has more than 16 years of experience in the logistics sector. She was most recently Finance and Administration Director for TNT Express Germany where she was responsible for the company’s commercial activities as well as those of numerous subsidiaries.
“I’m really looking forward to this extremely exciting job in a dynamic company,” Bodner said. “We will maintain our aim to establish ourselves as the number two in the domestic parcels market. DHL Parcel is investing a three-digit million euro sum in Austria in total. So it’s extremely important to take strategically sensible decisions in order to be successful in the long term.”
DHL Parcel Austria launched in September 2015 to challenge market leader Austrian Post in the expanding B2C market.
