Ansi Arumeel

The Supervisory Board of Omniva (AS Eesti Post) has appointed Ansi Arumeel, Member of the Management Board, as the new Chairman of the Management Board.

According to Bo Henriksson, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Omniva, Arumeel has a clear vision of the strategy and perspective of the company, a thorough understanding of the industry, and considerable experience in management, which all benefit him.

“Ansi has proven himself as a strong leader and a great manager. I believe that with him as Chairman, the company will achieve its goals,” he stated.

The open competition for Chairman of the Management Board of Omniva was announced in the end of August after the former Chairman, Joona Saluveer, was dismissed this spring.

Ansi Arumeel began working in Omniva in 2006 as the development manager of logistics. The following years he managed the company’s logistics business and, as of 2013, he has been a member of the management board. Arumeel played an important part in implementing and establishing the parcel machine network, expanding Omniva’s business across the Baltics, growing the parcel business, starting the construction of the most modern logistics centre in the Baltic region, and achieving many other goals that are significant for the company.
