Marco Schlüter will take over as operations director at Hermes Germany on December 1, completing the new management team of Olaf Schabirosky (CEO), Thomas Horst (Sales) and Hendrik Schneider (Finance). He replaces long-serving operations chief Dirk Rahn who left the company in June.
Schlüter joined the Hermes Group in 2012 as head of international road transport and then in 2015 took over as regional manager for a large region in northern Germany, including Hanover, Bielefeld and Bremen. He started his career with Danzas and DHL, and later worked for CEVA Logistics.
"Marco Schlüter has achieved extraordinary successes in his region and was able to make a very positive contribution to the company with these results," said Kay Schiebur, Board Member Services of the Otto Group. "We are looking forward to working with Marco Schlüter in his new position and wish him a good start and every success."
