Ted Söderholm, head of DHL Express Sweden, will become CEO of Nordic rail freight group Green Cargo at the start of 2019. He will take over from Jan Kilström who has left the rail group after five years as CEO to take up a different CEO job.
Söderholm joined DHL in 2006 and has been in charge of DHL Express in Sweden since 2010. He was previously at Accenture.
"I am very pleased that we have managed to recruit Ted to Green Cargo. Ted is a popular and sympathetic leader and has extensive experience in the transport and logistics industry,” said Green Cargo's chairman, Jan Sundling.
Söderholm commented: “I look forward to working and developing the (Green Cargo) business together with everyone at the company. I want to build a leadership that facilitates the work of employees to provide our customers with the best service.”
