Amazon France and the retail chain Monoprix, a subsidiary of Casino Group, have extended their partnership launched a year ago and now offer groceries from Monoprix to customers using the Amazon Prime Now service in the whole area of Paris and the surrounding suburbs.
With immediate effect, Amazon Prime members residing in Paris and more than 35 neighbouring communes can order Monoprix products including direct delivery to the address of their choice in less than two hours.
The Monoprix product range on Amazon Prime Now consists of 6,000 products, with nearly 1,600 items from Monoprix store brands including Monoprix Gourmet, Monoprix Bio, as well as fruit and vegetables, meat products and cheese, hygiene, beauty and household cleaning products.
"The deployment of Amazon Prime Now in all areas of Paris and surrounding municipalities, and express delivery of Monoprix products is a new step in our strategy to make everyday life easier for urban residents," said Régis Schultz, chairman of Monoprix.
Amazon Prime members can order their favourite Monoprix products via the Prime Now website or the Prime Now app and choose free two-hour delivery for orders over €60 (€2 delivery charge for orders under €60). Orders placed via the Monoprix virtual store will be delivered from 10am to midnight from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 6pm on Sundays.
All Amazon Prime members can download the Prime Now app, available on iOS and Android devices, or visit www.primenow.fr to find eligible delivery postcodes, place orders and track the status of their delivery in real time or request a notification when the service is available in their area.
