War in Ukraine impacts Asia-Europe air cargo capacity, rates

The war in Ukraine, which has led to a ban on Russian carriers operating on European routes and in retaliation, the closure by Russia of its airspace to airlines from numerous countries, is having knock-on effects on the key Asia-Europe air cargo trade lane, with capacity shrinking and rates climbing,  according to industry sources and media reports.
