Bringg offers new delivery and returns options on Salesforce AppExchange

Delivery management platform provider Bringg has updated its Bringg on Salesforce offering on the Salesforce AppExchange to offer new capabilities to retailers, including new ways to manage e-commerce delivery and returns.

Salesforce AppExchange is Salesforce.com’s cloud computing marketplace through which end users can access, download and install software apps. It has more than 7,000 listings, 10 million customer installs and 117,000 peer reviews.

Bringg on Salesforce (formerly Zenkraft) is a delivery management platform, natively built on Salesforce, enabling users to interface with shipping carriers as well as their own drivers and vehicles.

App updates

The updated offering – Multi-Carrier Shipping, Same Day Delivery & Returns – will provide retailers with new ways to manage e-commerce delivery and returns on Salesforce by leveraging their own drivers, third party carriers, and various customer pick-up options. With the ability to expand fulfillment operations from the warehouse to the store, retailers are enabled to execute cost-effective store fulfillment that supports customer and store staff experiences.

The recent update follows news in May of this year that the Bringg on Salesforce offering was updated to provide a cross-cloud last-mile delivery model to Salesforce customers, giving full visibility and control, including parcel shipping, same-day delivery, post-purchase tracking, and returns.

According to Bringg, with the recent updates retailers are now “empowered to deliver consistent omni-channel shopping and delivery experiences, with full visibility and control across the customer checkout experience, shipping and fulfillment, real-time tracking, and returns.”

“A unified commerce experience”

The most recent update enables retailers to cost-effectively combine Order Management Systems (OMS) and fulfillment from the store, helping retailers to seamlessly scale operations by driving up revenue and reducing fulfillment costs. Retailers can easily create a unified commerce experience that places the customer in the center, increasing omni-channel revenues while driving greater efficiencies to reduce operational costs.

Guy Bloch, CEO of Bringg, said: “Our vision is to enable all businesses with innovative delivery and fulfillment that is accessible, usable, and valuable to everyone. This new version makes fulfillment from the store easy for store employees and valuable to consumers. Consumers get the most convenient fulfillment experience, deciding when and how they want their orders delivered. Releasing Bringg on Salesforce is another step in realizing that mission, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Woodson Martin, GM of Salesforce AppExchange, added: “We are excited that Bringg is continuing to innovate on AppExchange in the management of e-commerce deliveries and returns. AppExchange is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers, and we love watching our partners evolve alongside us.”

Bringg growth

Serving more than 800 customers globally, Bringg manages and unifies last mile delivery, fulfillment and returns, empowering enterprises to manage and grow their delivery capacity, reduce cost and provide branded customer experiences. Bringg’s open SaaS platform and robust network of over 250 delivery providers, enables enterprises to offer customers any delivery option, whether using internal drivers or external delivery providers, including 3PL, carriers, crowdsourced fleets or independent gig drivers.

The firm is constantly seeking to improve and expand its offering. Earlier this month, for example, Bringg teamed up with package delivery business Uber Direct to launch a new delivery service in France.  According to the two companies, the partnership will enable local enterprises to easily launch fast and convenient delivery options to their consumers. The partnership allows customers in France to order items from participating retailers through Uber Direct.

Also this month, Bringg announced a new partnership with National Retail Solutions (NRS), an operator of point-of-sale (POS) platforms for independent convenience stores and other shops, to provide local home delivery for purchases from independent retailers in the US.

According to the two firms, the alliance will enable NRS’ 19,000 retailers in the US to source and manage external delivery providers for home delivery services utilizing Bringg’s SaaS delivery platform, the Delivery Hub.
