USPS focuses on restructuring after massive loss and parcels decline

The US Postal Service has yet again made a massive financial loss, due to rising costs and flat revenues resulting from fewer parcels and letters, and now expects to stay in the red next year as well – but Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is stressing he will press ahead with his “no alternative” 10-year turnaround plan focused on parcels growth through an integrated nationwide delivery network.
