Parcel locker company SwipBox and US-based Peak Technologies have teamed up to offer a new click & collect solution for duty-free shopping, allowing passengers to conveniently pick up their purchases from an app-operated parcel locker located at the airport.
The unique solution seamlessly integrates Peak's Click & Collect/instore retail solutions with SwipBox's revolutionary app-operated lockers that do not require power, data or permanent fixing, thus offering airport operators the ability to relocate lockers as and when required.
Apart from the Infinity locker, SwipBox will provide apps for both delivery and picking up – the latter using the new dedicated click & collect app. Passengers will benefit greatly with the ability to collect their purchases 24/7 without queuing, according to the two companies.
Ireland first
Peak Technologies' click and collect solution featuring SwipBox lockers will soon launch in one of Ireland's leading airports with further retailers and logistics companies coming on-stream in 2024.

The click + collect solution is being rolled out by their European team in close collaboration with SwipBox.
