E-commerce growth and good cost control were the key drivers behind better results for Posten Bring in a challenging market last year.
The Norwegian postal group delivered over 100 million parcels in 2024, compensating for a continued decline in mail volumes. Posten Bring 's revenues in 2024 amounted to NOK 24,972 million, an increase of NOK 577 million compared to 2023.
Operating profit (EBIT) improved to NOK 644 million (vs NOK 599m) while adjusted operating profit rose to NOK 906 million, an improvement of NOK 190 million compared to 2023. The main driver behind the improved results is the growth in e-commerce combined with good cost control, according to the company.
In Q4, however, revenues declined to NOK 6,662 million (vs NOK 6,724m) and operating profit (EBIT) declined to NOK 65 million (vs NOK 198m), although adjusted operating profit improved to NOK 360 million (vs NOK 214m).
