PIA is Slovenia Post's new AI voice assistant

Slovenia Post has a new AI-powered voice assistant called ‘PIA’ to help staff deal with customer service issues more quickly.

The new Postal Interactive Assistant (PIA) is designed to reduce the administration burden of the workforce in the customer contact centre who typically deal with more than 2,000 enquiries per day.  

PIA is the first and only voice assistant in Slovenia that can provide “natural conversation in the Slovenian language” as it understands 12 different Slovenian dialects, the post noted.

It uses an advanced AI-powered language model, which is “continuously learning” and improving. According to Slovenia Post, the PIA will improve customer experience and set new standards in digital communication.
