DHL eCommerce is accelerating its parcel deliveries in the Netherlands through a new partnership and aims to double its parcel locker network to increase consumer convenience, reduce delivery emissions, and improve efficiency.
The firm has revealed a new partnership with Dutch-based business delivery company Intrapost to guarantee business mail and parcel delivery within 24 hours. The two firms will integrate their networks to offer customers the “most optimal and sustainable delivery route.”
“Mail delivery within 24 hours remains accessible and reliable for both companies and consumers,” said Wouter van Benten, CEO of DHL in the Benelux. “The collaboration with Intrapost and the installation of parcel lockers at retail chains show how we increase freedom of choice in the mail and parcel delivery market.”
