Experienced parcels and logistics executive Thomas Schmitt will become CEO of Radial North America, bpostgroup’s US e-commerce subsidiary, next month.
Radial has been led on an interim basis by Craig Simon since June 2024, a role he will continue until mid-March 2025. As of March 17, newcomer Thomas Schmitt will take over as CEO of Radial North America. He will report to Chris Peeters, CEO of bpostgroup, and will also lead the Management Committee (MCo) of Radial North America.
Schmitt (60) was born in Germany and has a strong track record in supply chain logistics, with over a decade of experience as CEO at FedEx in Tennessee, where he drove significant growth. He later served as CEO of Purolator in Canada as well as Aqua Terra, Canada’s market leader in drinking water.
