PostNL is investing millions of euros into its out-of-home (OOH) network this year, with more lockers and service points, to provide customers with greater delivery flexibility and help support its growing parcels business.
The postal operator is set to invest €10 million in more than 500 parcel lockers during 2025, bringing its total number of lockers to around 1,600. The investment is part of the post’s strategy to strengthen its OOH network, which in total includes 6,700 service points.
The OOH strategy was announced late last month during the release of PostNL’s 2024 results, which revealed that the postal operator had a challenging year leading to declines in both operating profit and full-year EBIT.
