Hermes Germany has revealed that it will adjust its prices for domestic consumer-to-consumer (C2C) shipping from 1 April 2025 to tackle rising operational costs and meet demand for investment in infrastructure, personnel, technology and sustainability.
The price increases will take place across all standard parcel classes and range from single- and double-digit cents up to €1. Hermes noted that customers that send their parcels to and from the carrier’s nationwide network of 17,000 out-of-home (OOH) ParcelShops will “continue to benefit from price advantages.”
Hermes last made comprehensive price adjustments for domestic C2C shipping in summer 2022, when it focused on large and bulky shipments. The price changes now announced apply to all standard parcel classes, which at Hermes Germany range from small parcels to XXL parcels.
