Spanish parcels company SEUR has started construction of a new hub near Madrid in a joint €150 million project with logistics real estate developer Goodman.
The two companies held a ceremony last week for laying the first pillar of the Getafe Terminal Logistics Centre, which will go into operation in 2026. They did not disclose how the €150 million investment sum will be shared between the two companies.
Sara Hernández, mayor of Getafe; José María García Gómez, Deputy Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure of the Community of Madrid, as well as Ignacio García, Country Manager of Goodman Spain, and David Sastre, CEO of SEUR, participated in the event.
