Christophe Boustouller is new head of UPS France

Christophe Boustouller has moved from FedEx to UPS as country manager for France with responsibility for strategy, business development as well as operations.

Boustouller, 51, joined UPS after spending more than 25 years in the logistics industry. He was previously Senior Vice President of Operations for FedEx in Southern Europe, based in Italy. He replaces Mike Harrell, recently appointed president of Freight Forwarding for UPS Europe.

"Christophe Boustouller has strong professional experience and rich expertise in the logistics sector in France and internationally, and we are excited to see him bring this experience to UPS," said Nando Cesarone, UPS Europe. "We believe in the strong development potential of UPS in France and we have recently invested more than 110 million euros in new infrastructure. Christophe Boustouller is now the right person to reinforce UPS's position in France and to build on recent investments. "

"UPS has a true growth strategy combined with an ambitious investment plan of several million euros for France and I am keen to be able to work with employees to achieve this growth,” said Boustouller. "I am delighted to have joined UPS, which has a strong corporate culture, has been present for 30 years in France and has been accompanying all its customers for 110 years in the world. "

In 2016, UPS inaugurated a new hub in Lyon and a new center that is also the new headquarters for UPS France in Paris, and inaugurated the laying of the foundation stone of the next center in Corbeil-Essonnes / Evry, whose opening is scheduled for early 2018.

UPS has also improved its delivery times for its economical UPS Standard service from France. Customers in France will now be able to benefit from faster delivery to Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. UPS Express deliveries have also been improved, with faster deliveries between France and north-western Poland.
