Carsten Siebe

CEP industry expert Carsten Siebe has joined the internationally operating team of REINECKE&ASSOCIATES in Hamburg as managing partner.

Siebe has held various management positions at DPD, Trans-o-flex/Eurodis and Hermes in Germany over the last two decades.

The entry of the logistics and CEP expert broadens the international competence of REINECKE&ASSOCIATES on the European logistics market and responds to the increasing importance of logistics for trade and in e-commerce.

Gerd Reinecke, founder of REINECKE&ASSOCIATES, said: “The recruitment of management positions in the booming logistics segment requires a high competence. We are delighted to have a known logistics expert working with us. Carsten will support REINECKE&ASSOCIATES to gain access to additional client segments in new markets.”

Carsten Siebe, a graduate of the German Foreign Trade and Commerce Academy (DAV) in Bremen, relies on more than 20 years of management experience in logistics and is an intimate adept of the European CEP and postal market. As managing director of EURODIS GmbH he successfully built up a European distribution network from 2008 until 2014. Before joining REINECKE&ASSOCIATES he was a director at Hermes Europe, a company of Otto Group Hamburg, responsible for the European Hermes network.

He contributes his experience and skills to the traditional competences of REINECKE&ASSOCIATES in the traffic, transport and logistics, trade and renewable energies segments.

Siebe said: “The importance of logistics in our complex work-sharing economy is steadily increasing – especially due to the developments of worldwide e-commerce. Hence competition for successful logistics experts and future leaders is high and further increasing. It is my ambition to create a competitive edge in winning these heads for our clients.”

REINECKE&ASSOCIATES was founded by Gerd Reinecke 1983 in New York und Hamburg and is today one of the most reputable executive search consultancies for logistics competence.
