UPS expands its mobile app to ten more countries

UPS mobile app for IPhone

UPS has launched its app for iPhone and Android mobile devices in ten more countries which
brings the overall number of the countries where it is available to 16 providing more convenience
to customers when it comes to the shipping process.

Launched in 2011, the UPS Mobile App has been a successful tool helping businesses and online
shoppers manage their shipments and deliveries in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the United
Kingdom and the United States. With immediate effect, it is also available to consumers in Austria,
Belgium, Denmark, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Businesses and consumers can use the app to find UPS shipping locations, obtain rate quotes,
create shipments, track their packages and manage deliveries all from the convenience of their
smartphone. They can also order to send their parcels directly to alternative delivery locations
via their mobile devices.

The UPS Mobile App also includes on-the-go access to UPS My Choice features. Meanwhile, more
than 14 million consumers in 16 countries already use the service to re-route or re-schedule
deliveries. Consumers can also activate a holiday or vacation setting to have packages held and
delivered when they return home.

In select countries, UPS My Choice members can send their packages directly to the UPS parcel
shops, the so-called UPS Access Points, as their preferred delivery address. UPS Access Point
locations are local businesses such as neighborhood convenience stores and pharmacies that are
opened until late in the evenings and during weekends.

The UPS Mobile App is available for download at the Google Play and iTunes app stores.

“The expansion of the UPS Mobile App provides convenience and flexibility to UPS customers
across Europe and North America,” Geoff Light, UPS President of Product Development, said. “With
more than 6 million downloads, it’s clear there is a high demand for a dynamic mobile solution with
real-time delivery management capabilities.”
