UPS will phase in USPS air volumes for smooth peak season

UPS will start adding postal volumes to its US air network during the summer to ensure a smooth peak season in the autumn, hire fewer than 200 additional pilots and use existing capacity in its integrated air-and-ground network under a multi-billion dollar contract as it replaces FedEx as the US Postal Service’s main airlift provider from September onwards.
