UK regulator proposes fewer Second Class mail deliveries

Fewer letters but high costs

The British postal regulator Ofcom today (January 30) presented long-awaited, cost-saving proposals to modernise Royal Mail’s universal service obligation, including fewer Second Class mail deliveries, but still with First Class mail deliveries on six days a week.
