DHL launches carrier-neutral DeinFach parcel lockers

DeinFach managing director Lukas Beckedorff tests the new lockers

A new parcel locker network has been launched in Germany with the deployment of the first DHL-backed but carrier-neutral ‘DeinFach’ terminals in several cities.

The lockers were originally announced last year under the working name of OneStopBox but have since been re-branded to a German name ‘DeinFach’ (meaning literally ‘Your Compartment’).

Seen as a response to the steady expansion of Austrian company MyFlexBox in Germany, the lockers are designed to complement DHL’s closed network of Packstations as multi-user terminals that are open to other parcel carriers, retailers or other customers. The operating company is a DHL Group subsidiary.
