Bpost Group is facing a challenging year in its home and international markets in 2025 following a tough final quarter of 2024, with profits from 3PL subsidiary Staci compensating for significant business downturns in Belgium and North America.
Notably, the Belgian group is making a massive €299.4 million financial writedown on its struggling US e-commerce subsidiary Radial North America where customers have switched business to competitors and a new CEO will take charge next month.
Announcing its Q4 and full-year results today (February 28), bpost stressed, however, that it had delivered results “in line with expectations” as profits from newly acquired Staci and successful peak execution helped to offset the negative financial impact of new Press contracts and revenue pressures in North America.
