Royal Mail has won real estate firm NewRiver as its first commercial partner for its exclusive parcel locker network while DPD UK is extending its cooperation with The Post Office to international services.
As a result of the NewRiver deal, the British postal operator is set to roll out lockers to 60 shopping centre locations across the UK within the next six months.
The news comes a few months after Royal Mail announced the launch of its exclusive use lockers. Previously, the operator has partnered with other locker networks, such as carrier agnostic providers Quadient and Yeep!, to offer customers locker delivery to around 1,000 shared lockers.
