FedEx has unexpectedly halted its economy parcel and freight services to Saudi Arabia from six major countries, the carrier announced on Monday without providing specific reasons for the decision.
As a result, customers in Brazil, India, Taiwan, Japan, China, and the UK, will no longer be able to use FedEx’s economy shipping options to send packages to Saudi Arabia. However, the company has assured that priority services are still available for shipping to the Kingdom.
FedEx has emphasized that the suspension is temporary, with services expected to resume in the future, though no exact timeline has been given. The company has advised customers to seek alternative shipping methods for their economy deliveries to Saudi Arabia.
