Donald Pilz has been appointed CEO of Hermes Europe with effect from May 1, 2016.
The former TNT Express Central Europe and Palletways Europe managing director will head the four-person management team and report to Hanjo Schneider, Otto Group board member who is responsible for the Hermes logistics activities.
“We’re delighted that with Donald Pilz we have found an expert in transport and logistics who will drive forward the further strategic positioning of the Hermes companies in Europe,” said Schneider.
Hermes Europe is the parent company for the Hermes businesses in the UK, Italy, Austria and Russia, and manages cooperation between all the Hermes companies and the partners in countless European countries.
