Cleveron launches parcel lockers in Dutch pharmacies

Cleveron 301 has launched a pilot project using lockers deployed by Etos to deliver prescription medicines to customers in two high traffic locations in the Netherlands.

The two lockers, installed by Dujardin Remmers, Cleveron’s partner in the Benelux, are located in the cities of Haarlem and Overveen, and mark a new last mile solution for Etos with the aim to further boost the customer experience.

Customers can use the Etos+ app to order medicines and pick them up in Etos stores or have them delivered to their homes. The new service helps Etos better serve their customers, as consumer trends have shown that people want more convenience, speed and privacy when picking up their medicine.

Customers using the Etos+ app become a Thuisapotheek customer and can call the pharmacy to get expert advice. Thuisapotheek.nl will be responsible for supervising, reviewing and providing medicines and for customer service.

Cleveron 301 is a smart parcel locker that is operated by a smartphone app. Cleveron 301 is designed to be affordable for small businesses, new business models and services. The PIN pad version of the Cleveron 301 doesn't require a smartphone for the end-user to pick up an order. Instead of scanning the QR code, the end-user inserts the pickup code on the PIN pad display and receives their items in seconds. 

The smart parcel lockers were installed at Etos by Dujardin Remmers, Cleveron’s representative in Benelux. Dujardin Remmers also offers after sales services for Cleveron’s products.
