FarEye wins e-commerce logistics contract with Asian fashion platform Zalora
E-commerce logistics software specialist FarEye has won a contract with ZALORA, Asia's leading online fashion destination, to improve its logistics operations and achieve cost-effective deliveries.
As one of the region's largest and fastest-growing fashion e-commerce companies, ZALORA is optimizing its operations to satisfy the growing volume of orders.
With FarEye, ZALORA can automate logistics processes and refine delivery operations with complete visibility. FarEye ensures that once parcels are scanned, job orders are automatically created and sent to delivery executives. The easy-to-use mobile application is integrated with ZALORA's in-house warehouse technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless transportation of products from warehouses and distribution centres to end customers.
ZALORA customers can get real-time updates on delivery status along with the details of the courier. More personalized deliveries have improved overall Delivery Happiness Score and reduced Customer Anxiety Index.
FarEye enhances hub-to-hub logistics operations, ensuring that ZALORA Marketplace sellers can receive returned products without hassle. Additionally, if the first delivery attempt fails, it immediately sets up an approval process before triggering the second delivery attempt. FarEye creates intelligent processes, helping ZALORA improve cash reconciliation, reduce paperwork dependency and shrink its carbon footprint.
Silvia Thom, ZALORA Group's Chief Technology Officer, explained: "FarEye's platform is flexible, easily configurable, scalable, and future-ready. It's helping us provide delightful delivery experiences to our customers by making delivery processes transparent and personalized. FarEye improved the number of successful deliveries that we do in a day while reducing overall logistics expenses."
Kushal Nahata, CEO & Co-Founder, FarEye, commented: "Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing eCommerce markets in the world. On-time and in good condition deliveries become essential in such a hyper growth market as deliveries are the first brand touchpoint for customers.
“We see that businesses globally are having a tough time keeping up with the evolving customer expectations. In such a competitive landscape, we are thrilled to partner with Zalora and empower them to achieve exceptional levels of operational efficiencies and provide delightful customer experiences," he added.
