Nathan Jones is new Stamps.com CEO

Stamps.com has appointed Nathan Jones as its new CEO following its $6.6 billion acquisition by financial investor Thoma Bravo.

Ken McBride, long-serving chief executive of the US e-commerce shipping technology group, whose subsidiaries include Metapack, Endicia and ShipStation, has decided to step down as of November 1. He will remain until year-end to support the CEO transition.

His successor is Nathan Jones who has been President and CEO of ShipStation and several other brands within the group for the past seven years. He will also join the company's Board of Directors.

Jones has over 20 years of leadership, management, and culture experience within the fulfillment software industry and joined Stamps.com following the acquisition of ShipStation, where he was the President and CEO. He has a proven record of operational experience in product strategy and innovation, organization and business transformation, and building enduring teams and cultures, the company said.
