Parcel + Post-Expo makes hybrid comeback

The world’s largest exhibition and conference for the postal industry, Parcel + Post-Expo, will make a big comeback next month as a combined in-person and online event.

Parcel + Post-Expo 2021 will run from October 12-14 live in Vienna as well as digitally, and will be preceded by the UPU’s World Leaders Forum on October 11. CEP-Research is once again a media partner and will report on the key topics presented and discussed in Vienna.

Organisers UKI Media & Events said: “We are excited to announce that Parcel+Post Expo 2021 will take place in-person and online as a hybrid event, to allow attendees to attend live in Vienna, or to watch elements of the event from the comfort of their office or home environment.

“Parcel+Post Expo Hybrid will stream live events via our virtual platform, allowing a connected and informed experience both online and in person. With a unique combination of exhibition, access to innovative technologies, live conferences and networking, Parcel+Post Expo 2021 Hybrid will have a wider global reach than any previous event!”

Technologies, solutions and services

Like at previous shows, the exhibition will feature a wide range of technologies, solutions and services for the parcel delivery, e-commerce logistics and postal industries. These range from warehousing and sorting systems to lockers, zero-emission vehicles, robots and drones along with operational IT software.

Extensive conference

The free-to-attend conference will cover an extensive list of strategic, commercial and operational topics over the three days. Strategic issues under discussion will include ‘learning from the pandemic’, postal transformations and partnerships, ‘reinventing the last mile’, sustainability and digital transformation.

Among the top conference speakers are Belgium’s Jack Hamande, Emirates Post CEO Peter Somers and Escher Group CEO Brody Buhler, along with many experienced postal industry executives and managers.
