DELIVER goes online with quality programme

European e-logistics event DELIVER has unveiled a quality programme of speakers, presentations, workshops and networking sessions as it goes digital in October.

CEP-Research is once again a media partner for the two-day event, which will bring together a large number of Europe-based e-retailers, logistics suppliers and other industry stakeholders on October 8-9.

Celebrating its fifth year, the ‘European rendezvous for e-logistics’ was originally due to take place in Amsterdam. But it has been forced to reinvent itself as a purely online event due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on international business events such as conferences and trade fairs this year.

“To make this first virtual experience a moment that lives up to its reputation, DELIVER has built an exceptional and innovative agenda to allow our community to gather around inspired and inspiring industry retail leaders’ speakers and innovative sponsors,” the organisers said.

The 2020 programme features four Retail Leaders Masterclasses that will address 12 major themes, 10 Interactive Workshops, table-talks with experts and special networking sessions for registered participants.

Top retailers discuss major industry themes

This year, 12 different themes will be addressed during the four Retail Leaders Masterclasses: Automation, Omnichannel, Sustainability, Resilience, Community, Business Model, Customer Journey, Growth, Digitalization, Circular Economy, Innovation and Creativity.

Speakers on Day 1 include Joost Poelgeest (Bol.com), Antoine Rigaud (Le Slip Français), Massimo Arioli (Prenatal), Hakan Dogu (Renault), Alice Hagger (Made.com) and Gionata Galdenzi (Moschino).

Day 2 speakers include Victoria Cantemir (Philips), Zorana Milidrag (Sport Vision), Karine Damour (FNAC Darty), Peter Lewin (Levi Strauss & Co), Jarkko Havas (Ellen MacArthur Foundation) and Chris Erthel (Meller).

Interactive workshops and table talks

The 10 workshops held by sponsors will have innovation and interactivity will be at the heart of each session to foster dialogue and synergies within the DELIVER community. Workshops will be presented by DPDgroup, Geodis, Russian Post, ZigZag, Manhattan, Shipup, DS Smith, Packsize, Autostore and Zencargo.

In addition, DELIVER introduces this year a new format with table talks which are peer-based conversations between half a dozen of retailers discussing and sharing insights on vital issues with sponsor vendors.

Sponsors for these table talks are Zencargo (Freight Forwarding), Qapla (Marketing Opportunities), GreyOrange (Fulfilment Automation), Cycleon (Returns), Paack (Same Day), Packsize (Packing Automation), Fives (Warehouse Automation), Shipup (Customer Experience), B-Stock (Secondary Market) and BoxC (Crossborder).
