Global retail and supply chain leaders are set to meet in Las Vegas next month for this year’s DELIVER America conference.

Taking place October 10-11, DELIVER America will see delegates gather for what is billed as the premier matchmaking event for the retail and supply chain community. The event will feature talks from leading lights from many of the biggest retail companies including Amazon, Walmart, The Walt Disney Company, Best Buy, and Lowe’s, who will take to the stage to offer attendees exclusive perspectives on the most pressing challenges facing retailers.

Amazon and Disney in attendance

Walt Disney’s Patricia Marseille will lead a session on AI and automation entitled "Expanding Supply Chain Talent: Upskilling Teams in the Age of AI." Meanwhile, Amazon's Franziska Bossart will discuss the tech giant’s $1B Industrial Innovation Fund and the technologies which are setting new industry standards for both consumers and employees.

The event will provide a deep analysis into the supply chain needs of attending retailers, connecting them with pre-qualified logistics partners who specialize in the same fields, paving the way for strong partnerships and pioneering innovations across the retail industry.

It follows on from DELIVER Europe, its sister event which took place in June in Amsterdam

Dave Wood, vice president special projects for Ocado Intelligent Automation, a manufacturer of warehouse automation solutions, who attended the Amsterdam event, said: “After a successful Europe experience this June, DELIVER America stands out as a strategic choice for Ocado Intelligent Automation in 2024 and beyond.

“With its exceptional participants and precise matchmaking process, the event provides a valuable platform for engaging our target audience, learning more about industry needs, and driving innovative solutions forward”.

Sustainability on the agenda

Sustainability will also be a major focus, with a keynote panel entitled "Scaling Sustainability Impact: Turning Ambition into Value-Driven Profit", exploring how companies can align environmental goals with profitability to meet consumer demands for sustainable products.

The conference will also consider the pressing question of whether to diversify away from China, especially in light of the looming US election and growing geopolitical concerns among American businesses about over-reliance on China.

The panel discussion, "Global Pivot: Strategic Diversification Beyond China" will examine both the risks and rewards for businesses who do this. Meanwhile, Ecommops will present the other side of the debate, showcasing a successful case study on DTC fulfillment from China.

Beyond the educational value, DELIVER America 2024 offers many networking opportunities, including an exclusive party on October 10th at Vegas’ iconic Drai’s nightclub, where retailers and sponsors can relax and socialize while enjoying food, drinks, and entertainment overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. The evening will also host the awards ceremony for the DELIVER America Vendor Awards, set up to honour supply chain excellence and voted on by attending retailers.
